Newcastle Quay (Honeysuckle HQ)
The final piece of the Honeysuckle waterfront renewal, spanning both sides of Honeysuckle Drive on the former industrial harbour-front. DOMA Group was selected by the NSW Government as delivery partner to build a mixed-use precinct of 1,000+ homes, a 180-room hotel and 500-seat conference centre, 28,000m² of commercial space, and 11,000m²+ of public open space. The heritage-listed Wickham School of Arts is restored at the precinct's civic heart, alongside a First Nations Cultural Centre.
What it means: Newcastle's biggest single precinct transformation. It reshapes the harbour edge of the CBD and Wickham, adding major housing supply, jobs and a new conference drawcard over the next 15 years.
